It is an excellent launch place for ski boats and the Aliwal Shoal, being just five km off-shore and rated the amongst the top ten in the world scuba diving destinations. Whale & dolphin watching with the Sardine Run which is a must, happens annually in June & July. This area of the coast is often referred to as the "Golf Coast" due to the amount of Golf courses here. The Beach, golf course, restaurants and shops are just minutes walk from our spot Aliwalrest. The locals are friendly and hospitable and I have no doubt that you will enjoy your stay.
