Located 25 minutes from Durban/Pietermaritzburg, your hosts Babette and Mark are looking forward to welcoming you to this tranquil and beautiful lodge, which has a lovely garden and an abundance of bird life. The bedrooms have been rustically furnished and decorated, with complimentary toiletries and a tea/coffee tray. The comfortable en-suite rooms in the Main Lodge and the Annex carry the flavour of Africa, whilst the log cabins with separate ablutions are located in a quiet and beautiful garden-like setting. Backpackers and campers are most welcome. Wake up in the morning to the sounds of the abundant bird life and take a walk in the grounds where you will encounter small wildlife such as Oribi and Duiker. A number of Hamerkop families have made Watervale their home. Take in the stunning views from the 850m high crest whilst also enjoying the wildlife, abundant birdlife and fascinating flora.
