Description: Orange Valley Guest Farm lies along the mighty Orange River just below the Gariep Dam wall. We are 15km from N1 highway on tar roads. Your hosts, Bruce and Sue invite you to sample Karoo hospitality, a comfortable bed and a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Dinners are served on prior request. There are 5 private guest rooms with fans, heaters, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee trays. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private entrances. The guest diningroom has a satellite TV and cosy bar. Internet facilities. Laundry and ironiing service. The garden has a swimming pool, childrens play area and BBQ/braai facilities. We offer river-rafting trips along the Orange River (summer only), well suited to families and adventurers - no 'white' water but good class 1-3 rapids - a great river experience! Also on offer are horse-riding trails through the Karoo countryside and Orange River Valley. Novice riders welcome and pony rides for children are also available.
