Description: Sacred Mountain Lodge is the ideal location from which to explore the Cape Peninsula - Conveniently situated at the base of Chapman's Peak Drive, only 35 minutes from Cape Town City Centre, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. Vine Cottage: This is our 2 bedroomed luxury cottage, set in a private and tranquil mileu of green and whispering garden – hear the horses frolicking in the paddock over the fence. Inside the cottage is an open plan central living area, flanked by en-suite bedrooms on either side. The finishings include sandstone, slate and oregan, with a beautiful, fully-equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances including gas hob & electric oven, and solid oregan counter top. The main bedroom offers a private queen-sized bed with its own sitting area and DSTV, and the second twin bedroom is screened off from the open plan living area and luxury sleeper-couch lounge with DSTV. Both bathrooms offer oversized glass and slate showers, and both bedrooms lead out to the garden with slate tiled patio, complete with Weber braai and teak outdoor furnishings. Idyllic. Vine Cottage sleeps 4 guests comfortably and privately from each other, however the, luxurious sleeper couch offers a further 2 guests a comfortable night’s sleep. (Sleeps 4 - 6). Clydesdale Luxury Suite: Spacious and luxurious are the first words that come to mind as you enter Clydesdale. Situated as part of the main house with a totally private entrance, the décor is one of wooden floors, chandeliers, suede curtains and a luxury full bathroom with large bath and glass shower; queen sized bedroom with open wood-burning fireplace; open plan lounge with DSTV; little dining table to seat 4; a luxury double sleeper couch is available offering a further 2 guests a comfortable night’s sleep; and a separate fully equipped oregan and stainless kitchenette. (Sleeps 2 – 4). Oak Tree Cottage: This is a wonderfully and unique cottage, situated beneath the 100 year old Oak trees overlooking a tranquil, forested garden. A favourite for romantic couples, Oak Tree is decorated in oregan furniture from a bygone era, and offers a queen sized bedroom en-suite (oversized shower); a soothing lounge with DSTV and gorgeously cozy wood-burning fireplace, with separate fully equipped kitchenette. The patio and private braai facility gives one the feeling of privacy and complete serenity. (Sleeps 2 – 4). Acorn Cottage: This is a delightfully warm and welcoming cottage, situated next to Oak Tree Cottage beneath the 100 year old Oaks, and overlooking a tranquil forested garden. Acorn’s furnishings also present the period ambiance of a bygone era, with queen sized bedroom , en-suite shower, leading through to a separate lounge with luxury sleeper couch and DSTV. Acorn offers tea and coffee making facilities with a bar fridge instead of a kitchenette. Sitting on Acorn’s patio in front of your Weber braai with a glass of wine in hand, leaves one with the sensation of pure, unspoilt memories! (Sleeps 2 – 4).
