Description: Under Cussonia: Our spacious guest cottage is set in an indigenous garden at the hub of the farm. It is beautifully equipped for up to 8 people self-catering, with separate kitchen, pantry, lounge and dining room, an outdoor braai area, salad garden, bookshelf and games cupboard. Guests can walk, jog and ride bikes around the farm, or they can enjoy game viewing, bird watching, fishing, seasonal farm work and swimming (the pool at main house is open to guests). All of these activities are available on the farm itself or on the neighbouring game reserve, which lies only a short drive away (entry is free!). Iliwa Island: A private rustic bush camp tucked away in the sweet thorn forests on the banks of the Great Fish River, and overlooked by spectacular sandstone cliffs. The wood panelled ablution block has flush toilets and hot showers. Additional facilities include an outdoor cooking area, bird garden, tented boma with bar and kitchen, and your own riverside beach. Guests can enjoy swimming and fishing in the river in the warm months (but keep a look-out for hippos that have gone walkabout from the game reserve!), they can hike or bike along farm.
