Description: Tamakwa Country Lodge offers 3 cottages which can each accommodate from two to six persons, with an option of self-catering. Each has been delightfully decorated and fully equipped. Log fires and electric blankets for those cool evenings. In room facilities: Self-catering units fully equipped. Bed & Breakfast units have tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. Underfloor heating in some of the units. T.V.'s in all units. Fireplaces in all units & Electric blankets Our accommodation consists of: Bergview cottage: Accommodates 6 persons (Bed & Breakfast or Self-catering) Lavender Cottage: Accommodates 4 persons (Bed & Breakfast or Self-catering) Burberry Cottage: Accommodates 2 persons (Bed & Breakfast Suite) Old Farmhouse Suites: 1 & 2 accommodate 2 persons in each (Bed & Breakfast Suites) 3 & 4 accommodate 2 persons in each (Bed & Breakfast or Self-catering Suites). We do have a swimming pool and DSTV, with regards to DSTV we have the hotel package so we have a selection of channels, however should you wish to bring your own smart card, you can as some cottages have their own decoders. There are magnificient views of the rolling hills across to the Drakensberg Mountains. Other facilities closeby is bird watching or fly fishing for river trout. Explore the Giants Castle, bushmans paintings or golf. Your hosts are Wendy and Adrian. (children welcome). On site facilities include: Birdwatching (44 different bird varities have been identified). River walks. River fishing for Wild brown Trout Close by facilities: Midlands Meander Arts and Crafts to explore Giants Castle and Kamberg Valley Nature Reserves (Hiking and to view Bushman paintings).
