Description: This dwelling is a private holiday home and is available for letting on a highly selective basis as a fully equipped self catering unit when not in use by the owners. The house is situated on the well known Links area between Main Road and the Old Stellenbosch Road and has been in the family for many years. It has recently been totally renovated to suit the modern requirements and needs of the owners. It is a three bed roomed house. The large main bedroom with bathroom en-suite (bath and shower) has its own T V with direct access to the patio. The other two bedrooms are served by a second bathroom with shower only. The third bedroom has a unique private access to the second bathroom thus allowing for an �en-suite� facility when the home is used by two couples. There is an open plan lounge - kitchen - diningroom. Leading off the lounge and the main bedroom is a large patio commanding a lovely panoramic view of False Bay over Somerset West with the Strand in the distance. The rim plunge pool is located on the patio. The home is situated in a safe area with secured perimeters. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure their own comfort by having all modern conveniences fitted. Thus the living area and kitchen has underfloor heating and the bedrooms and bathrooms have fitted heaters. Each bedroom and living area has an overhead fan. Satellite T V and video is available in the lounge and main bedroom. The usual appliances are available including telephone/fax, fridge/freezer and microwave etc. There are personal safes in the main and third bedrooms. The house is comfortably yet stylishly furnished. There is a lock up garage as well as a secure courtyard for parking. Possibly the greatest �upside�, certainly from the point of view of holiday housewives, is the live-in housekeeper on the premises (in her own flat). She has been part of the family for years and will attend to routine domestic duties such as washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking on a daily basis. She will also be available for additional duties such as baby sitting by arrangement and at extra remuneration. There is no inherent objection to allowing children in our home. It is not suitable however for small children mainly in view of the unprotected pool on the patio and the stairs leading off the patio. Thus children should probably be able to swim and take some care of themselves and be at least six (6) to seven (7) years old. The house is designed to sleep six individuals and no overcrowding will be allowed. Our home is a non-smoking one. No smoking will be allowed indoors and we reserve the right to ask the visitors to leave immediately if this rule is transgressed. Within 3 minutes of the town centre and its great selection of shops, restaurants and places of interest. 10 minutes from two lovely sandy beaches and the begining of the Stellenbosch Wine Route.
