Description: This beautiful house was built in 1914 and is furnished entirely in Cape cottage style. High up on the hillside above the village of Knysna,there are spectacular views of the lagoon and town from the house & apartment. Staying here you are within easy walking distance of the bustle of Knysna village but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The house has 2 bedrooms. Both the main bedroom and the sunny second bedroom (which sleeps 2 in twin beds) have an en suite bathroom. The separate lounge, which is furnished with 2 antique daybeds, can double as a third bedroom. The house has a bright open plan living/dining/kitchen area. There is a washing machine and tumble drier. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove top, microwave, fridge and just about every utensil you'll need. That is if you're going to cook - Knyna has an array of wonderful restaurants of which "The Long Barn" is a local favourite. The house has a beautiful garden which leads out from the patio/braai area and a portable braai is supplied for balmy evenings. The apartment adjoins the house but is completely separate. From the apartment patio you can look out towards the famous Knysna Heads as the property is situated high up on the hillside above the beautiful village of Knysna.
