Description:
Mtonjaneni Lodge is set amongst the majestic hills next to Dingaan's Spring, overlooking the tranquil "Valley of the Kings" in Zululand. The Lodge is owned by Nico and Rina Harris. It is within easy access from the R34, a major route between Johannesburg and Durban via Melmoth.

Mtonjaneni Lodge is situated on a family farm, in the Melmoth district. Melmoth is a highly productive Agricultural area, consisting of various farming activities such as Forestry, Sugarcane, Cattle/Game, Citrus, Avocados and Essential Oils. Furthermore it is also well positioned for the visits to the Zulu Cultural Heritage, Battlefields and Game Reserves. It is also well positioned for the business market in Zululand and Northern Natal area.

Fo a weekend getaway or just a night away on business, Mtonjaneni Lodge has it all. The view from the verandah overlooking the vast valleys is breathtaking and leaves you with a feeling of belonging.

The open fireplace literally draws one to share its warmth, a feeling that is further enhanced by the congenial atmosphere created by an abundance of wood furnishings around the beautiful bar, displaying mounted wildlife trophies.

Homemade breakfast, lunch and dinners are served in a cozy, well positioned dining area. A restaurant & bar menu is available for guests and day visitors. The lodge is a superb venue for private and conference functions.

The log cabins well positioned and comfortably furnished are an attraction of their own.

They support 2 identical units per log cabin (14 units, 28 beds) with their own tea, coffee and bathroom facilities. Each bedroom has a television, heaters and fans.

Activities:
While visiting our interesting craft shop, light refreshments may be enjoyed in our cozy coffee shop and lovely tea garden.

Nico, Rina and staff welcome you and will custom make your stay to suit your needs in the most hospitable way imaginable. Children are most welcome.
