Cedarberg Lodge is situated in the town of Citrusdal, a scenic 165 km from Cape Town. The lodge, with it's comfortable accommodation; well equipped conference centre; 26 air-conditioned rooms, each with private bathroom and television, is a must for all lovers of the countryside who prefer a touch of old fashioned hospitality. The Citrusdal region is home to the rare Snowball Protea; Rooibos Tea and the rare and valuable Buchu plant, which grows wild on the surrounding mountains and nowhere else in the world is well known for its curative properties. The area also contains a third of the worlds total plant species. Our 60 seat a-la-carte restaurant serves top quality cuisine, in an up market environment. A table d'hote is served every Sunday lunch and during the flower season, in August and September. Breakfast is served every morning, with a choice of cereals and fruits, your choice of a Continental or full English breakfast can be taken on the terrace on a warm summers day if you choose. The cosy cocktail bar, with a roaring log fire on a cold winters evening and soothing air conditioning in summer serves drinks until late. Light pub meals are also available in the bar. There's nothing like a cooling swim in the sparkling pool on a hot summers day. Volley ball, table tennis, darts and pool tables are never far away. The accommodation comprises of 26 comfortable air-conditioned rooms, with television, phone and en-suite bathrooms contribute to a relaxing stay.
