Description: The Inn is on South Africa’s famous Garden Route, in a small settlement called Storms River Village. The village is the centre of the forested, tranquil Tsitsikamma area, and is the home of Stormsriver Adventures, the internationally-known outdoor adventure operation. Bordering the village are two national parks, one of them a pristine marine reserve. A number of forest trails surround the Inn. Within an hour’s drive is the ecologically unique Baviaanskloof, with breathtaking scenery all along a winding mountain pass – the last road to be built by the legendary Thomas Bain. In and around the Tsitsikamma there are activities for the adrenaline junkies as well as those who just want to relax and do nothing at all. And there are many options in between. Here are a few (among many): Relaxation - The tranquillity and quiet of the area means that you can simply relax on the stoep of your room in the Inn with a good book, and let the world go away. - On a chilly day, sit by the fire in the Hunters Inn pub and daydream. - Go for a walk along one of the trails in the forests. Choose between an easy, flat trail which takes an hour or so, or longer, more strenuous ones. - Stroll along the wooden walkway from the restaurant in the National Park (fifteen minutes drive from the Inn) to the mouth of the Storms River.
