Map/Directions to Gecko Garden B&B
Directions:
Travelling on the N3 (north or south), take the Linksfield offramp.
Turn left into Linksfield and continue straight up the hill. (You will pass Edenvale High School on your left hand side).
Continue going straight, crossing over 1st Avenue and Van Riebeeck Avenue. (Nandos will be on your left hand side).
Carry on going until the second set of robots. Turn left into 17th Avenue.
Continue straight down 17th Avenue. It will eventually become Andries Pretorius Road.
Just after the Engen Garage on the right hand side of the road, you will get an intersection. Keep right and cross over the traffic light into Terrace Road. Pass one set of traffic lights, at the next traffic light turn left into Columbus Avenue; you will pass through a boomed-off area.
Fourth house on the left hand side. Blue and orange gates. Big gecko on the wall and orange No. 6.
Travelling on the N3 South, take the Edenvale / Johannesburg offramp. Follow the road passed the garage on your left hand side and around the circle to a set of traffic lights.
Cross over the intersection into Van Riebeeck Avenue and past a shopping complex on the right hand side (green meadows) and green stone on your left hand side.
At the first intersection, where the road splits to the left hand side, turn left. This is Terrace Road.
Continue past two sets of robots (on your left will be a Martin’s funeral parlour) turn left there, into Columbus Avenue, go through a security boom. It is the house with the blue and orange Gecko on the wall number 6.
From Pretoria East Rand:
Take the R21 and then at the airport continue with the R24.
Take the Barbara Road offramp and turn right driving back over the freeway.
Cross over the intersection at Brabazon Road and continue straight (Barbara Road becomes Driefontein Road and then Lunik Drive).
Lunik Drive bends to the left and becomes Terrace Road.
Follow Terrace Road through Sebenza until you get into Eastleigh
Continue down Terrace Road, past the Pick ‘n Pay on the right hand side of the road and crossing over Palliser, Main and Diaz Roads.
Next set of traffic lights turn right into Columbus avenue, you will drive through a boomed off area. The house will be on your left hand side a blue Gecko on the wall.
Edenvale off Ranp - N12:
Travelling along the N12, take the Edenvale Offramp.
If coming from the East Rand, turn right into Van Riebeeck Street.
If coming from Alberton (south) turn left into Van Riebeeck Avenue.
Continue with Van Riebeeck Avenue until you get to an intersection with KFC on your right and Nandos on your left hand side. At this intersection, turn right.
Carry on going until the second set of robots. Turn left into 17th Avenue.
Continue straight down 17th Avenue. It will eventually become Andries Pretorius Road.
Turn right into Terrace Road at the intersection just after the Engen Garage (on the right hand side of the road).
Continue past two sets of robots turn left there into Columbus Avenue nr. 6.blue Gecko on the wall.
