Map/Directions to Ambleside Country House
Directions:
fROM oUDTSHOORN / oUTENIQUA pASS: (N9, N12) into George. Turn right at first traffic light, into Witfontein Rd. Go 2 kms, becomes Montagu St. and turn first right into Maitland Street. The Guest House is at the top of hill on right.
From Knysna / Wilderness: Take right lane off N2 into George. Courtenay St - keep straight - becomes Davidson Rd to Traffic circle.. Turn right past George Sports Club, then see Golf Club on left, - 1 km - turn left into Witfontein, (signs to Blanco, and Fancourt,) Go 2 km, then around left bend, turn right into Maitland St. The Guest House is at top of hill on right side.
From Mossel Bay / Cape Town: N2. - Take turn off to George Airport, left at Stop, and left around the Airport site and buildings, to Stop sign. At the crossroad, go straight across (R404). After 5 minutes enter Town area - past Fancourt Golf Estate - turn left, Maitland Street. The Guest House is at the top on right.
