Directions:
Routes From Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Gauteng:
Leave the N3 at Exit 99 (Southern Drakensberg).
At Howick south – Follow the R617 through Boston & Bulwer to Underberg.
Take the Drakensberg Gardens Road 4 km past Underberg.
Lake Naverone is 27 km along this road.
Note: The Nottingham Road route from the N3 is not recommended nor is the route through Edendale from PMB.
Route from the KZN South Coast:
From Port Shepstone, take the N2 to Kokstad.
Then take the R617 from Kokstad via Swartberg.
Turn onto the Drakensberg Gardens Road 4 km before Underberg.
